Multidimensional artist, Bakarii knows that music has the power to transport us to different states of minds and emotions. He loves to harness that power to lead his audiences on a journey of feelings and emotions. His captivating voice, memorable melodies, engaging lyrics and unique tracks all combine to turn every song and every show into a memorable experience.

Based in Minneapolis/St. Paul, Bakarii brings a young and refreshing energy to the music scene. His eclectic background includes growing up overseas and calling many countries such as France, Spain, and more “home”. The result is a unique sound influenced by a global variety of genres and artists, ranging from Hip Hop and R&B all the way to Afrobeat and Afrofusion.

Bakarii initially began his musical journey in 2016 at Hamline University, and continues to make melody-focused tunes enjoyed and appreciated by a wide range of audiences. As an artist he is dedicated to delivering a true and musically holistic experience to every supporter and listener.

Ozone Creations

In addition to Bakarii’s solo music career, he also is a co-founder of the Minneapolis/St. Paul media collective: Ozone Creations. With co-founders Jean-Paul Akwa, Obiora Obikwelu, and Kokou Kah they’re making the Twin Cities the cultural epicenter for Afrofusion music. Our mission is to promote cultural importance, positivity and authenticity through the medium of music. OZONE CREATIONS is MADE UP OF 13 DIFFERENT ARTISTS, WHOM ARE ALL 1ST GENERATION AMERICANS COMING FROM AFRICAN DECENT. THEY EACH BRING THEIR OWN STYLE AND FLAVOR MAKING THIS GROUP EXTREMELY VERSATILE.
